[Question]What is the difference between the CYCLES & BLENDER RENDER ENGINE

i noticed that many things changes when i switch between those engines like the material editor, nodes, rendering settings & more… but is this the main target of any render engine??? I am confused

They are different engines, and you must decide which one you are using before making your materials. Cycles produces generally better results, but is slower and more complicated to use than Blender Internal.

cycles is just a more recent addition to Blender and has been heavily developed and used under TEARS OF STEEL OPEN MOVIE.
