Hi,
I am completely new at blender and I am modeling my very first object, a model of the Empire State Building.
Now my Question: On the building (see photo ) I cant just Extrude anymore can I ?? And thats my problem how do I continue ?? I pretty sure that this is a very basic question and I´m sorry if it´s to basic but I´ve tried to solve it myself and just cant make it

try subdividing the object
tab into edit mode, press “a” to select all, and then press “w” and select subdivide
you may need to do it a few times. Then you should be able to extrude it more
