Meet Mr. Stick:
He’s sad because he’s not very symmetrical.
You can really see it in the shoulder joints in this pic, but the hands are much worse.
I tried deleting the left arm (Mr. Stick’s right) and then selecting all of the components in the right arm, copying & pasting it, and then doing ctrl+m to enter mirror mode. I tried all 3 of the axis to see what would happen, none of the results were desirable… For instance, here’s what happened after hitting Z once in mirror mode:
Poor Mr. Stick. :spin:
I’m sure I’m not doing it right, but after playing around for a while I can’t seem to get anywhere near the results I want. The closest I got was when I joined all of the elements for the arm/hand, and then moved the origin to be on the far left side of the “collar bone”. This at least kept all of the pieces together, but still didn’t rotate it across the body the way I needed it too… For instance, mirroring on X once got me this:
Even if I applied that, and then tried to mirror it, I couldn’t get it to point down right.
Anyone got any advice for me so I can make Mr. Stick happy? :eyebrowlift2:
Thanks in advance,
Mr. Moo
