Questions about Quadro and CAD and Blender CAM.

Questions:

  • Is it possible with geForce GTX 770 2GB that I own with any Quadro ?
  • Is Quadro NVS enough for VERY simple CAD models ? Or should I have Quadro without “NVS” ?
  • Do I really need a Quadro card?
  • Is that recognable to have a Quadro ?

I will make my own home cockpit with analog instruments; therefore, I am asking the two questions.

  1. This question doesn’t make sense. I can’t answer it.
  2. Any GPU is enough for VERY simple CAD models. But NVS cards are meant for stock traders to drive multi-display installations. You probably don’t want one.
  3. I don’t know. Probably not.
  4. “Recognable” is not a word I know.

This doesn’t make any sense either, but good luck whatever it is you’re actually doing.

You do not need a Quadro card. Do not buy the cheap Quadro NVS. GTX 770 is a great card. Not sure what else you mean as it’s lost in translation. I take it you are from Bergen, so try google translate for Norsk or something like that, it may help us understand your needs.

  • Do I really benefit to have a Quadro card to making very simple 3D models ? Or is that enough to use an existing card that I have ?

Your 770 is fine for even quite complex models.

I have a quadro fx3700 with 512mb VRAM and it is quite capable but also loud for my taste. I will get an gtx 750ti windforce 2GB very soon.

Quadro is not needed at all.
You will not benefit from purchasing a Quadro card.
Do not waste your money.
Gaming cards are blazing fast in todays market. This is no longer 2001.
