Quick Question ! PLEASE HELP!

Hi,

I have an issue with my Blender - why objects in scene look like this and why they are not rendering properly in renderer?

PLEASE, I beg you for fast answer !!!

Hard to give a fast answer without seeing a picture.

I realize you’re new here and cannot upload an image, so host it elsewhere and offer a link.

Also, give us some more details about yourself. Have you been using Blender for a while, and this is an unexpected new problem? Or are you basically new to Blender and don’t know how things work?

Now uploaded.

I start using Blender few days ago.

Ok, that image gives us absolutely no useful information.

Take a screenshot of your complete interface. Not with a phone. We need to see the outliner, render settings for objects, etc.

You can use the snipping tool on Windows to take screenshots. Press Windows + S

Ok guys, I know, I know, excuse me, I’ve done this while I was ridding a train.

Give me a sec.

Okay, here it is - screenshot, yeaaay !

Need to check the basics.

Start by selecting all your objects, remove any keyframe or drivers. Then see if the model renders as you want.

It looks OK in perspective view and possibly clipped in camera view. The camera has its own clipping settings (separate from the viewpoert clipping settings in the N panel)

Select the camera and check its clipping.

I can’t tell that it does . Looks like the wheels are rotated, and the back bumper is on the front of the car.

Yes it is not clear, which is why I said “possibly clipped”, also not sure why there seem to be 4 different camera outlines in camera view (dotted outline)

That clip start is way too low. You don’t need to be able to see objects 1 micrometer in front of the camera, which is literally what you have now. Set the clip start to 0.1m, it should be fine for your scene if it’s at real size.

The bigger the distance between the clip start and clip end, the more you run the risk of imprecise rendering, because Blender runs out of decimals in the possible depths of things on screen.

I don’t think you’re wrong on the clipping by the way. Could be a factor. Is sort of hard for me to tell if we have more than one problem here.

Would be easier to diag if the camera view and the perspctivee view were sort of the same angle and distance.

Yes I suspect that they changed that to see if it made any difference, but it is only the viewport clipping in perspective view - not the camera.

From that second screenshot, did you model your whole scene really tiny? The camera isn’t even fully visible in the image. I suspect your whole scene is a few centimeters in size at most. That’s not good for accurate renders.

Also, the camera has separate clip values. Don’t forget to adjust them too.

Guys ! Where can I set up units customize - like it is in 3DS Max - in blender ?! I probably solved the issue ! but where it is ?

In the scene tab.
Note if you change the unit system or display (from meters to cm) settings it does not change the size of your objects, just the way the dimensions are displayed.

With the exception of unit scale, the unit scale does scale the objects.

In this case I set the unit scale to 0.01 and the default cube becomes 2cm x 2cm but I am still in metric units and the default 1 meter as base unit.

Okay,

This is setup that I used and it works - earlier it was " milimeteres " not " Field of View " and I set up first value at 0.001 .

That should not cause the clipping, the clip start is what is important.

I think maybe etn249 is right and your scene was is not scaled properly, you should not need a clip start that low. (1mm from the camera)

If your scene is indeed a tiny scale it would probably be better to scale everything up instead of changing the unit scale.

Edited cos unit scale does effect clipping size.

Ok,

I’ve got another question to you :

Why perspective in the second view is more kinda ortographic style like and second question - how could I render this perspective right from " Shading View " - without camera - just like it is now ? How and where I can click render ?
