Quick Sculpt

Just a quick sculpt started in Sculptris and continued in Blender. I find Scupltris a little easier to begin models with, Blender seems to only have an effect on the topology directly viewable, which I find to be a little counter productive.

I am using 2.59 tho, so hopefully the 2.60 changes will make me smile!:smiley:

theres an unlimited clay option in blenders sculpting mode (probably not in the official builds yet) which is much like adding topology in sculptris while sculpting.
its still in its early stages and not as effective as it is in sculptris (theres no way to go back once you’ve added the detail and there is still a chance of adding artifacts using it)
were you refering to that when you said “Blender seems to only have an effect on the topology directly viewable” or were you trying to say that the number of faces cannot be edited in sculpt mode?

Yeah, you pretty much summed up my issues. I have not tried any of the salad builds yet, I tend to stick to the official releases to minimize crash-rage!
