What is the button combo that puts a vertice in the middle of the two points, but not subdivision.

i’m having trouble explaining it…

umm like if you had make a cylendar and wanted to [edit]add a vertice in the middle of the cylendar on every line…

do you know what i mean?

Ctrl-S = Cursor to selected. The Cursor will always go to the center point of selected (yellow) verts.

umm that seems to be Shear when i tried it…
