In the last release I’ve received lots of important feedbacks and this update brings those feedbacks to life and new features.

  • Auto Update: With Auto Update, now I can easily implement fixes and introduce new features, and you don’t have to wait for it! The add-on will automatically update to the newest version. Of course, you can disable this in Settings.

  • Open Toolbox at center of mouse cursor: This was a long time feature request, and it’s finally here!

  • Bringing back most of the settings back! Toolbox width, searchbar etc. See the options in Settings.

  • You can now change the width of the sidebar in settings.

  • Added Grease pencil new features like automerge, multiframe, freeze etc at topbar.

  • And of course bug fixes!

More to came and yes you don’t have to download it manually after this!

Hi guys, I need opinions on a feature I’m currently implementing. Please if you can give your valuable opinions it will be greatly appreciated.
As you guys might have noticed, the favourites feature is removed in v2.0.
In the next update, I will release a new version of the favourites feature. When favouriting a tool, you will be asked to enter a single alphabet shortcut for the favourite.
When pressing Spacebar or any hotkey you may have assigned to open toolbox, you will first enter the Favoutires mode (if there is any shortcuts), in that mode you can press the Alphabet to instantly switch to the tool you have assigned. In the Favourites mode, you will see a list of hotkeys available so that you don’t have to memorize it. If you want the toolbox instead, press Spacebar again, which will open the toolbox.

So to open the toolbox you will need to press Spacebar twice.

Will this be a good idea to enter Favourite mode first and then press Spacebar to open toolbox? Or should I add another shortcut to open the Favourites mode seperately?

I wouldn’t want them to be separate. Personally I’d prefer if certain hotkeys were reserved for the favourites, say… the numerical keys?

Thanks Michael, I will add numeric keys to be able to make hot keys for the favourites.
Did you get the latest version with favourites mode?.

Hadn’t seen a notification yet, but I’ll download it soon!

Purchased the addon, so far so good! I was wondering if there was a way to increase the size of the thumbnails for the brushes? I find them too small and I’d like to see their details a bit better. In the screenshot below it’s difficult to make out which is which.

In addition, and this one isn’t really a big deal, but the filter for the brushes only applies to the starting letter combination. For example, in the previous screenshot, I’ve lots of brushes with the word ‘skin’ in them. However, when I try to filter the word ‘skin’ it returns nothing, but if I filter by ‘A_Skin’ then it shows those brushes.

Other than those two things, I quite like the addon!

Is this add-on still updated? And does the latest version work in Blender 4.0+?

I hope the author responds to your question. It has not been been updated for for a long time. I did recently deactivate it. And no it doesnt work well in newer versions.

It worked for me.
Although I’m hoping It will be updated to 4.3

The new Weight painting feels so alien to me.
