Dang, took me a while to formulate the title.
Basically, what I want is this: a button that, when you press it, creates neatly arranged bones - sliders which control an existing mesh’s shapekeys. An obvious use case is a model with lots of facial shapekeys.
I’ve researched this and was able to find 3 existing solutions:
- Paid: “Drivers”
- Paid: Driver-Rig: Shape Keys To Bones
- Free but abandoned: [Addon] Shapekey Driver to Bone Constraint
I’m probably gonna buy the Drivers addon and see how well it solves my problem. Still, if anyone knows any other good solutions, this is the thread to post it.
