This is a reusable runtime library that lets Blender add-ons replace an object’s native Outliner icon by copying one folder, without rebuilding Blender.
The preparatory work has been completed, making it easy for anyone to integrate into their own plugins without complex debugging. The tested versions are documented on GitHub and support versions 4.1 through 5.2.
