radiosity in blender

 i’ve been using blender about three months now, and i’m pretty comfortable with all features and options. still there is radiosity which is a feature i know almost nothing about, so can you give me some tips about using radiosity. i would be thankful.

here’s some documentation
http://download.blender.org/documentation/NaN_docs/Manual2.0/radiosity.html

There are a couple of good tutorials on the web, i’ll see what I can find.

http://oldsite.blender3d.org/search_item.php?part=tutorial&search=&filter=&sort=date&offset=6

take a look at tutorial #10 from the old Blender.nl site

And here is a link to a thread on using textures in radiosity here on Elysiun
https://blenderartists.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3981&highlight=radiosity+textures

Paradox

if you use image maps on meshs which use a null and as mapping mode opbject instead of orco you texture maps will stay where they are afetr the radiosity calculation.

just a small side tip since you will notice that soon.
