radiosity texture baking for game engine

can i calculate radiosity and use it in the game engine ?

vertex ? texture ?

Can’t say I’ve experimented much with it, but I think radiosity textures work almost directly in the game engine. Of course, you might think about pressing remove doubles before you’ve freed the radio data (to keep the vertex count down) and make sure the normals are set correctly.

yeah u can, but as ay said, remove them doubles… since radiosity is vertex paint, it will work in the game engine, but will greatly increase yiour vertex count and depending on how much of your scene will be textured with radiosity, it might explode blenders game engine :wink:

Ok Got it already, just calculate the radiosity, replace the meshes, press play and is there :slight_smile:
