Is there a vertex limit applicable when using the radiosity tool?
I tried it on a model of around 22.000 vertices (left) but it did not work.
Reducing the model to around 17.000 vertices (right) did work.
Anyone familiar with this feature?
It works for me and I regularly have 50,000+ verts and faces, its possible that the size of your faces may be below a certain threshhold…
Have you tried lowering the convergence factor below 0.1, I usually use 0.065
you might also want to increase the MaxEl setting on the calculation tab…
Changing the convergence did work somewhat, I will have to to figure out which
value wil work for me.
