Ragdoll attached to armatured character (bones copying loc and rot of ragdoll parts)?

Ragdoll attached to armatured character (bones copying loc and rot of ragdoll parts)? is it possible? I remember my friend spoke something of a matrix for the armature or something, but anyway… is it possible to control the location and rotation of a bone through a script? mainly copying them from another object like I said. :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t think you can, if I remember correctly there is a problem with armatures and coding

Just replace the armatured character with a contraint oriented look a like when the time comes for the ragdoll business to take place… and then if you want him to get back up again or whatever just plan ahead by making some transition animations for him that correspond with some likely end poses from the ragdoll results

nice idea, but it doesnt help me one bit… the character I am thinking of will be ragdolled the whole time. o.o’

its not going to have animations, what I need is it to have a clean smooth surface, no seams… sigh, I’ll call my friend tomorrow :stuck_out_tongue:
