like in halo when you die master cheef is replaced with a master cheef ragdoll like thing…can you do that in blender?

It is not easy, and I can’t recall having seen anybody do it. But it should be doable.
edit: easy or not depends on how good you want it to look. Note: you can’t make them with armatures
somebody did it in the fps template with a zombie, I don’t remember who or when or where, but I’ve played it.
A simple method is use an edit objet actuator/replace mesh, to every “box/bone” in the ragdoll, But you have to make a character piece by piece, I saw too somebody in youtube who make it using other way.

How to change from a normal character to your ragdoll is something I don’t know how to do it.
This method is also only for baking physics, It doen’t work for realtime rag doll
I know its dosent work with armitures but dose any one know why…I mean like its the same a the other right?

I thought more about matching it to the character.
I already said a solution, but seems like nobody care.
*Make a cube ragdoll,
*Make a character, make hin in some pieces, one piece = leg, other leg, one arm, etc…
*Aply to all the parts of you cube ragdoll an edit objet actuartor/change mesh, and change it for one part of your character
*Press P.
Maybe it is not the best way but it is the only one I know.
I did it some time ago, and it worked, but I can’t find the blend.
