Hey everyone,
I’m pretty new to Blender (started a few weeks ago), and I’ve been working on an animation that starts out with rain, and then has glass exploding up past the camera. Imagine that you’re filming the sky from on top of a greenhouse, and then the greenhouse explodes, and you’re like, “WHOA, this is AWESOME!!”.
Also, this will be flashed onto a tile floor in another animation as sort of a “surprise flashback”. So I’m trying to make it look really cool, but also be clear enough to tell what’s going on when it’s projected on the floor.
I have three different particle emitters:
- Rain (handmade mesh emitted by volume)
- Small Shards (handmade mesh)
- Glass Sheet Pieces (from an exploded plane)
The sky is an image plane, and it’s in the same layer as everything else. I couldn’t get AlphaOver to work right… :[ Also, I’m using a camera path, with damped tracking, so both screenshots are at different locations and angles.
Any thoughts?
