I was wondering if there was a way to rig your mesh so that part of your mesh has a random movement when the rest of the mesh moves. For instance, I am animating a character with a tail, and I want the tail to sway around randomly when it enters a run/walk cycle, jumps, etc.
I saw a similar setup when someone was using NI Mate mocap data. The ears of their character flopped around as the character moved, but they din’t have to animate the flopy ears by hand. Here is the example:
