Raph, the world's greatest 3d gallery

Well, its art judges would think so.

www.raph.com

Apparently, all works are judged by 20 proffesional artists from around the globe. Only the cream of the crop makes it to the gallery. Great stuff there. My question is, do you think that Blender is capable of passing the raph standards? Has anyone tried submitting Blender works? Most artwork on the site seems to be made with Lightwave, Maya, 3d Studio Max, etc…(lousy traditionalists, those proffesionals!) no Blender artwork that I came across.

Anything that can be created in another program can be created in Blender. Fact. I believe Blender could live up to those standards. It will just take a good artist.

So you mean to tell me that Tube by Slikdigit dosent meet those standards? I think it exceeds them. The problem is that I doubt anyone from this community has actually submitted anything to that site.

The only limitation in blender is your imagination. Anything is possible.

I am pretty sure as the even have tutorials for blender.

@ mars-graphics: That is Lox by @ndy, and was done quite a few years ago, when blender didn’t have anywhere near the capabilities it has now.

…date says Dec 2003 …3 years ago!

A search for Lox will also give you the announcement that it was selected for Raph.

So blender has - for a while, had far more capacity to create works worthy of that site than is needed.
