I’m not very experienced… The form is not bad, but normally for animating and posing you model the arms parallel to the ground. And, more importantly, don’t use triangles on organic shapes. It just isn’t good pratice. Also, the vertex below the throat, has 8 connecting edges, that’s not good either, for animation and such. Max 6 edges, and that’s almost never, some people only use max 5 edges connected to a single vertex. Read this: http://www.subdivisionmodeling.com/forums/showthread.php?t=482

Loops are very important, and your model lacks them. Read these threads and you’ll se what i mean.
You will learn a lot, and i’m sure your models will improve accordingly.

definitely has some issues on proportional level, and there are also issues with topology if you want to animate the object,
the links posted by starplayer should definitely help you a lot though. :slight_smile:

nicely modeled but you have to get rid of triangles and ngons totally …coz when smoothing it will be a problem …so better to make all quads
