Hi, By accident I totally screw up the position of some bones of my model. But: When I select one bone of my model and press (go Edit Mode) all positions are reset to the default position (GOOD!) When I leave EDIT-Mode they go back in the (unwanted) position. What I want is all the bones in the default position as in EDIT mode. I tried to all “clear …” of the Pose Mode Menu, but this cures only some positions, not all. Any help would be very appreciated! Keep blendering! mcc
Alt-G will reset thier location, Alt-R resets rotation, and Alt-S resets size.

I imagine that you have them set in a pose. Check the Action editor to see if any keyframes are set. If you didn’t make any keyframes, Blender might have been making keyframes if auto-keyframe was on (this keyframes every change for each bone, IIRC).
Alternatively, you could create a new keyframe set by selecting all the bones (after posing them) and hitting IKEY.
Im sorry i didnt understand what you meant when you said “I tried to all ‘clear…’ of the Pose Mode Menu”. I am trying to recreate the problem but I cant. Have you tried to all “clear…” of the Object Mode menu?
The problem was some “rests” of keyframes and animation attempts. I clear all them and VOILA reality and logic becomes again part of the fine world of blender, hahahaha ! Most of the time the bug of the program is just sitting in fromt of the monitor… Other question: Where can I find informations how to assign certain parts of the mesh to bones…so, when moving the bone, the mesh will deform accordingly? I think I have to leanr A LOT more of animation of meshes as I thought I already know… Last Q, slightly offtopic: How can I convince the forum’s interface (just the “thingy” where I am currently editing my post) to take my text as formatted as I did and put evrything together in one block.
