Re-mesh a model

I am not sure what exactly is the word for the process. Sometimes, I import SVG from Inkscape and create 3D models out of it. The mesh normally looks weird in such cases. I wonder whether there is something in Blender that can re-mesh it to a better mesh or faces. Thanks.

Hello, try this:

Convert the imported .svg to mesh and clean up the geometry. You can use the Decimate modifier.
I do it mostly by vanilla.
