react to surface

Hi guys, I’m new here. I’ve been using Blender a since July last year and I started making an animation. In a particular scene the character is pressed up against a window, and we are looking at him from the other side of the glass, but some of his tummy sticks through the glass a little.

Is there a way to make the mesh deform to the flatness of the glass surface?

for animation you could make the tummy-verts softbody and set the rest as the target, and make the glass a collision object.
I’m not much at modeling but if it’s a still there’s probably a way to use modifier like cast or shrinkwrap.

also this is the animation forum, probably get better help in the ‘support’ animation forum.

hey man, thanks for the reply but I already got it working. I used a lattice against the glass slightly squashed so that the character “reacts” to the glass.
