Real RPGs

Now that the thread “Best RPG ever” has degenerated to something not related to RPG’s almost at all, I’d like to know how may of you people play REAL pen-and-paper roleplaying games (or LARPs, for that matter), and if you do, how much do you use Blender to make visualizations of items, places, people, and so on?

I myself am not very active gamer anymore, currently I play in one GURPS fantasy campaign, but I do spend most of my free time around RPGs, mainly designing a somewhat realistic (if you can say that) fantasy world, and I use Blender to some amounts in designing buildings, items and that kind of stuff.

I started with D&D mid 80s Slowly drifted to AD&D and then GURPS, RoleMaster, MERP.

D&D is D&D but GURPS is the best system IMHO.

Last time I played could have been 3 years ago, much before I discovered Blender, but your idea is very interesting

I try to learn when I was young, but I guess I never got it, however I would like to see a D&D type game as a projuct, Final Fantasy 1 was the closes there is, but I see alot of RPG on the internet, there’s some being develop for crystalspace and there’s some news of a king quest 9 which would be a freeware. The best one I seen so far is Planeshift, maybe someday there will be a RPG engine that dungen masters can make there own map and apply certain textures like that of Cube.
