Okay, the title may get you excited but
you may be a little disappointed.
I have an evaluation copy of Realflow 4.
It is rather impressive (though rotating is a pain compared to Blender).
I discovered a problem after going through a tutorial and making
a geyser in Realflow. Blender can’t import the particle bins
and therefore, I won’t be able to use these great Realflow simulations.
How hard is it to write an import script that will recognize .bin? I do not know Python
but maybe now is my chance. But if Blender could be used with Realflow,
The fluid simulator would be put aside. Edit: Goodness, what was I thinking??
I must have been out of my mind to start to think that I would write
an importer… Forget what I said unless you feel like writing
your own importer and buying RealFlow.
This is all just an idea. And sorry for posting two threads in almost the
same day.
