Hi all,
I imported an existing .stl file into blender to make some minor changes. The front of the model is positioned at a 90 degree angle between the x and y axis. I want to mirror and do proportional editing but with the model aligned this way my mirror is 90 degrees off. Any tips on how to realign my location and rotation are all set to 0. Thanks for any help.
Based on the provided information, you could try using an empty as a helper object to get the mirror modifier using a correct axis. Could also rotate everything in edit mode by 90°, or in object mode and apply rotation afterwards (ctrl+A -> rotation).
