That’s the right order, but I think you will be delighted if you dump the masks for each layer. Now that you’re scratching your head I’ll let you in on my best kept public secret:
… was passed on to me now I pass it on to you. Make a single abrasion layer (as a psuedo mask) and use it to let your bucket fill do the work (that is the key). Even tho I use GIMP this technique translates awesome.
