Lamps are good. I’m talking about wall-lamps, with I.E.S light options and effects. Like the option to plug in i.e.s data on any wall lamp and geenrate the cool lighting that I.E.S offers

swaschan - I’ve made ies setup’s for some of the lamps. But it’s a good point, I’ll also try creating some other ies layouts and will share them for free

floo - all the renders were GPU made, it took about 1 hour to bake them on two GTX 560 but I set the samples to 5000 for a clean result. I think 3000 samples would still be acceptable
Today I go with some concrete stuff! I wonder what are your opinions on these.
My grandma actually had one of these chests under the window. Except hers was a dark reddish brown color. She store her vinyl albums in it. Just seeing your picture of it brought back memories of Christmas and going through her music to pick out another Christmas record.

That was the reason I’ve decided to start working on a model collections prepared exclusively for Blender. As an architect I’ve also focused on selecting (in my opinion) good looking, contemporary furniture examples that would fit almost every modern interior. Models will be released early in 2013 (hopefully in January) together with free tutorials explaining how to create a good looking, professional visualizations using only free and open source tools.

wizzleteet - I was considering selling packs of 7 models for around 25€. I’m also planning to donate a constant % of each sale to support Blender Foundation.
Gigo - I did a few blender tutorials for 3D Artist Magazine and one of them was describing furniture modeling, texturing and rendering. That was in Issue 33, you should still be able to buy it on iTunes. As for the free tutorials, I was planning to create a full professional interior viz tutorial which would also cover modeling techniques.
In the meantime I post some concrete packshots:

All these are just the viewport screenshots! I was rendering using GTX Titan and it took up to 10 sec for 256 samples and 15-20 sec for 512 samples.
