Here is a progression of my character creation project for this winter break. I first did a simple mesh to sculpt with dyntopo so then I could retopologize with the help of shrink wrap mod. After that I modeled all the clothes and multires details. My humble 4gb ram laptop ram out of memory so I had to generate normal maps to lower the subdivision during render.
The hair is the most tricky part I’m facing right now, but it’s still on the way.
I’ll be now making the skin textures and details.
The renders are via cycles with 100 samples
For the skin shader I implemented the Absortion tutorial to aproximate a SSS material.
