Thanks Garrison!
here is an update. Fixed stuff with the eyes, the shaders, the maps… a lot of stuff!
plus I started with the hair.

Excellent hair. And great eyebrows. I’m seeing more color on the outer nostrils, upper ears, inner corners of eyes, cheeks and lips. Is that accurate guess?
The eyeballs look great. Particularly the inner corner. Definitely a Baltic looking guy. Very good job
Ehy FXR, thanks for the answer! Yes your guess was accurate, I worked overall on the textures.
Here is a new up, again tried to improve the maps, materials and so on. Changed also the lighting. I am getting close to the end of the work. I did not manage to completely remove the waxy feeling from the skin, my guess is that this is mainly due to the bump map. However I prefer to move to a new project rather then changing this one again.
Some final advice?
Nah, no advice. looking really good! If you’re up to it, maybe present the layers used and what Changes done.
As for professional criticism, someone like Doris or Michaels could maybe steer you further . This level of work passed my ability
Very good job! Your bump map is fine, I think the only remaining issue is the underlying model itself. For instance, the bridge of the nose is rather flat. Also, the eyes are a little red (which may or my not be what you’re going for), and the spec roughness could be a little higher in certain areas. Very nice job over all! Congratulations!
Looking realistic!
Looks really really great - though something still looks off in the cheek and eye areas - do you have some photos of your reference we could see to provide some more accurate critique?
Impressive as heck! Truly an amazing job…howver something feels off. I cant put my finger on it, and I dont have all the necessary technical compettence to give you straight advice, but what I think is this. There seems to be too much bump mapping. The extreme amount of detail makes it look fake-ish. I would recommend looking into softening some areas a bit. I believe that may be why the outdoor render looks better. The lighting blows out the detail…anyhow, big props. Will keep checking to see your progress

hey guys sorry for not posting for such a long time, but I did not have time to make real progresses. I hope I will post some update soon! In the meantime, thanks to everyone for your feedback and advice!
THIS.
Fantastic!
If a tutorial ever comes, I will be delighted.
Stunning! Im not that technical experianced yet to help you a tiny bit. Thought I have one personal thing that I can add.
I cant seem to figure out what his emotion or thoughts are. A ran a few thoughts on that, and I think that the combination with the face muscle, eye and mouth dont make a story.
So I would like to see a tiny bit more emotion, either from the forehead, eyebrows, mouth area. Something to make it more alive
