Hi there, i finally managed to make a realistic looking water in the BGE, with it, i was bored of having A 1 FPS bloom, Started to play with the values of a script, and got 10/9 fps, also editing it, i got a more realistic looking glow, im running it in:
Pemtium 4 Dell
726 MB Ram
GeForce FX5500
Maybye in your computer it will be faster, here is it:

Like Wouter said, no textures on the water while it’s running. Maybe you forgot to pack the images?
Yep i use the Minnaert Shader for the Edge lighting :D, For the Depth, i only added it a Dark blue color, and let the Minnaert do the rest :), im now working on it to add Paralax to the water so it would look Way realistic, Future Improvements:
