Smarter Everyday put out a new video about creating music for oscilloscopes that generate imagery.
The guys covered in the video use Blender to create the 3D models and use their custom program to translate that into basically a motion graphics animation that drives the music that will generate the input graphics on an oscilloscope. Or something like that.
This has got to the one of the most interesting uses of Blender I’ve seen. Blender usage specifically covered at ~6:10.
