How do you get the vertices of a mesh during gameplay using python (if it’s even possible) and, if it is, can you manipulate their positions?
You’re God, you tell me.
You’re God, you tell me.
Dude, no wisecracking, he’s on a deadline. If he doesn’t get this done by the 7th day, he’s in big trouble!
I’m assuming neither of you know, so stop wasting my time.
Besides, I’m God. I could strike both of you down right now if I wanted to.
I recall you could get vertex locations and change them but not add new verticies. it was mentioned years back… things may have changed
Dude - 6th day. He’s got the 7th off !
So, does anyone know how?
I’m not sure if all the Python objects are available in the game engine, but you can use Mesh or NMesh to get and manipulate the vertices.
Come on man, with a handle like that you should expect a few humorous retorts.
Anyway, yes the Mesh and NMesh modules are what you use to get and modify vertex information. As was stated above I too do not know if that is available to the game engine runtime.
Thank you (those of you who gave me serious replies), and yes, I suppose with the username ‘God’, I got what I deserved.
Hello. may i talk to you a minute? I have some questions…
