There’s an option in the UV mapping menu to create a fake reflective texture. It’s under Reltime UV Mapping -> Reflection. I applied it to my model and it looks great when I preview it in ‘texture’ mode. However it doesn’t work in rendering, I guess because this option is made to be used in the game engine.
Is there a way to make this effect work in rendering mode? Can one for example hijack the input to an env. map and replace it with a texture instead of a render?
