Interresting thing

As for realtime thingies all depends on the scene weight and hard config, could you please telle us more on the tris number the complexity of the shader and your CPU/GPU setup ?
Oh and also of course the running frame rate

Thanks and congratz !

Happy blending !

EDIT: can’t play YT vid

So I am on a 1070 and I have a 4ghz gpu
I have 39 fps at 1280/1080 or whatever wide-screen is

It’s 1.5 ms depsgraph and the rest is rasterizer / fog triangles / shadows etc

I don’t know about what you think, but I just want to mention that the thumbnail gives the impression your streamer generates a golf course (see what looks like a golf ball, fairway grass, and a giant bunker).

Since UPBGE can use bpy and since all the Python code utilizing Blender is GPL, have you considered trying to utilize the code from the A.N.T addon?

actually I am looking at baking ant to heightmaps and streaming it too at some point

I just finished the ability so skin anything made of quads in 1 drawcall

the workflow at the moment is generate geometery → bake to EXR → paint
in game or out of game on the exr →

we can then skin the .exr in N layers of subdivision using alpha clip
