Step 5-8 is impossible, because no matter what I do, under Editing mode, the texture tab just says “no active faces”.
How can I fix this?
it seems you didn´t unwrap your object first.
Did you actually click and select the face in face mode?
Hi, when you switch in edit mode (tab) you must select all vertices with the “a” key, then you can unwrap the plane.
