thanks a minor update my gf pointed out the neck is like really untouched so i roughed it up a bit now i shall rig the hands so i can get him to grip the scythe

The scythe look too broken too do much good. Do another that atleast have a blade that is not that boken. I also think that he has too much holes in cloth. But otherwise it’s great.
ok i have closed up a few holes fixed the scythe up a bit rigged the hands just need to do the arms and add black dots to the eyes so you can tell where he is looking

Thats cool!
The biggest thing that’s bothering me right now is that the sleeves aren’t resting on his arms but seem to be floating around them. Should add some weight to them so they actually hang. Otherwise looking good.
Wow, that looks fantastic!!! :o the only things I can suggest is to maybe make the bottom of the sythe a bit thicker, it looks like it could snap pretty easily, and so it can stand comfortably on the ground. Also, try to bring his fingers more around it so it looks like he is gripping it properly, also with the thumb around it…
Just out of interest, how many polys/tris is this model so far?

Can you post him without the clothes? I think his legs are too short, they look like they end where the shins should be.
I think the length is just about right. I also think that arove is right you should fix the flying clothes.
ok i might softbody the clothes see whats thats like quick fix there i can post him without the clothes but the model is exactly correct underneath nor is it complete and my initial concept was to have him float thats why i haven’t got him touching the floor. lol Polys u wana no bout polys u dont wana know trust me far to many i see what i can fix up soon when the model is complete to get them down a bit more its summin like in total verts are about 400000 sub surfed but down to less than 300000 without subsurf or sumin i am ashamed i need to fix that quite on a large scale but u know im nearly done now well the character anyways need to do the scene next

God, that’s many polys. Try to erase some with the rem double button.
i know i gotta sort that out i think the model is complete near enough i softbodied the cloak it sits a bit better now and re rigged the hands as i rigged them wrong hat why they wouldn’t grip so he now grips his scythe bout it added little black dots to the eyes aswell

here we go another update rigged his arms now and hands he double gripped the scythe and in a better pose added grass but the ground and grass need to be brightened a bit more to be seen

the clothe looks totally unrealistic in the way it lays…and his pose is a little stiff.
how can i unstiffen the pose drop his shoulders? yeh i need to work on the cloth its not so much the actual cloak but more the hang downs right?

thanks for the comments i see what you mean mfox i changed ima bit made him taller probably needs making taller i fixed my softbody problem therefore fixing the hang down problem hopefully now jsut the stiffness then i can start work on the scene

I think the first (without softbodies) is the best. But if your going to animate him it’s better that you use the softbody.
