I think I can do a majority of it with mesh deform, and noise displacement but I’m not too sure about the twisting effect and what I am guessing would need to be a boolean effect to get it work.
i’ve only just begun playing around with this idea, but any advice that can be tossed my way would be a big help.
I’ve played around with it a bit. It looks close but different. maybe after I apply materials and lighting it will look better. I could also try vertex groups to try and smooth out the sides a bit. will see what comes out.
