Red blood cells. Cycles shader project.

A quick project I did as a challenge for myself to create a decent procedural shader for red blood cells, quite happy with the result.

Production time: ~1hr
Render Engine: Cycles CPU
Resolution: 3840x2160 (4K)
Samples: 1000
Render time: 1hr 26min
Minor color correction and post pro in NUKE

I’ll show the 1080p version here and put the 4K in a link because otherwise it takes up too much space.


The project is finished. But criticism is always welcome.
