Red Blood Cells

This is my first posting in this forum. I’ll make biomedical animation and it’s my first project about bloodstream. I need critique from you all to make my render result better and more realistic. thanks so much.

truthfully, I have no idea what a red blood cell looks like in real life. We only see them via scanning electron micrograph usually. My only advice for improving this scene is to make the blood vessel and background darker. Or, if this is meant to be a capillary, make the light directional in some way. As it is, the scene is very flat.

thanks Kemmler, - you’re right about lighting. actually, I’m newbie in Blender. your advices is important for me.

you have a start, but since there’s no light inside a blood vessel, the light and colours cannot look realistic.
Instead, focus on making a visually appealing image that conveys the information in an easy to understand and remember way.

I would recommend looking at some other images of blood vessels, they’re quite common, and seeing how they go about it.
