well, I’ve been working a lot with the freedroid game project lately.
there start to be lot of characters in the game now, when we started out, there was only one human, “professor”… so, now all the characters in the game look like professor … heh. even the female ones.
so, first, we needed the female laboratory worker…
she is a bit nerdy, quite cute little thing, but don’t be mislead, she would beat you in a chess game anyday…
then, we have these red guards. they definetely know what is hip this winter. our red guard is wearing flaming red scuba-dive-suit, rubber gloves, and anti-geek-boots. the helmet is connected to nutrition and oxygen tanks on the back… (I think)
I love your style, man. One slight thing, though. Is it just my eyes, or is that boot on the rightmost red guard not deforming with the rest of the leg?
Yeeaaahhhrr nodding head back’n’forth Thats great love this lips and hair! are you gonna keep the orange pin stripe effect only a true geek would have pin stipe hair. And the red guard - those guys are body popaz for sure.

Oh the tanks look too much like a cube to I’d suggest a lozenge shape or at least not have them sit so flat on the back, but then I guess they are all sealled up in the wetty yeah?

the boots are very stiff, so yes, they are not deforming. at least not for now. if I run into problems when animating him, then perhaps I’ll make it bend a little bit… but, they are supposed to be hard to walk…
it is possible I still tweak the box. the characters are for a game, so some of the datail have to be quite harsh so we can see them even in smaller renderings. but you are right, box is really … a box like. I’ll see if I can do something about that… thanks for pointing it out.

“classic” is the original remake of paradroid.
“rpg” is the evolution of freedroid, we took a little turn towards more roleplaying like… based on the original idea of paradroid… rpg is also the one that most of these new graphics are going into, classic we try to keep as classic as possible …

graphics are prerendered isometric tiles and animated characters. so, we can have as many polys I want. I don’t really like lowpoly 3d game characters, or 3d games in general…
Great characters. Animations are great too. I think the one in the pink dress should bounce a bit more on the top part (they can’t be that big and not move a little when she dances). You certainly have a great sense of style.
