Redo not working in beta 2.56

Hey, just yesterday Ive installed beta 2.56 and redo (Ctrl - Y) just doesnt seem to work here, whereas it was working perfectly in 2.49.

Do I need to enable saving undone operations or something like that? Its really frustrating, one Ctrl - Z too much in object mode and ton of work in edit mode lost with no redo option :expressionless:

My keyboard is working should you ask about that.

EDIT: Ctrl + Shift + Z instead of Ctrl - Y? Now that’s just terrible. Is there a way to change redo bind back to Ctrl - Y?

Use Space bar / search for Redo to see the correct keyboard shortcut for your OS
On a mac it is Shift+Cmd+Z

Thx, this helped a LOT. Not only this shortcut (C+S+Z) is uncomfortable to use but also after years of using GIMP I cant imagine using this… combo instead of simply pressinc C+Y.
