Let me quickly add the phase; ‘…rather scathing review… .’ was my perception of the article. Evidently many in the Blender community shared my view. LOL But, they do have a excellent free video editing program for download and very interesting newsletter which you can receive by just signing up.
By the way Pixar commenting on Blender in itself was something but Oh the comments. Congratulations to all the artist, developers and programmers who made that happen. Not to mention the Blender community who post bug reports and share the knowledge. Kudos to all.
