Redshift belongs to maxon, arnold renderer belongs to Autodesk, so I wouldnt use them because those companies take care their products more than competitors products.
Also I think redshift doesnt has realistic renders if I check their website, you have to play much to get realistic results. I used to use cinema4d and its physical renderer, I wasnt happy with it. Cinema 4d is very easy to learn and very quick, but its render engines, not that much good. Those are my opinion.
I would say that stick on Cycles or try Octane render. Maybe d5 render?
I tried the beta for a while when they were working on it.
It was a bit of a rough experience, not just for the integration. The forum (mods) were also not always the most pleasant to deal with when certain bugs were discussed.
I loved Redshift in Softimage XSI, but for Blender the Octane renderer might be a better choice if you want to go 3rd party imho.
