im trying to make a model o a berreta 92, and i have this refernce image.
how can i turn each view to a seperate, centered, and equally sized images?
You can use Gimp to cut and pasts it to individual images. Note that to get them in to Blender background image of same size, you need to use rectangular images of same dimension.
Or, just use that single image. You just need to center the drawing in each view by setting X and Y value. You do need to rotate top and bottom view 90 degrees to get the view right.
i tried it and when i put in blender it wasnt centered right and im getting confused.
Use a helper object, such as the default cube. Don’t move it from the center but scale accordingly and move images to match. Once you have done that, you could add one or two loop cuts to check the alignment again and then you’re good to go.
