Reference images

probably been asked before but I searched and did not find. (forum search, google, blender3d.org). Where do I find good reference images; I mean good for modeling, so a front and side view. (Human body)

Hello Patrick, I haven’t tackled the human body yet as far as modelling. But personally I would take pictures of a body part from two or more angles and then model it. I wouldn’t try to model the whole thing at once but rather put them all together one at a time. I’ve heard good things about the Joan of Ark tutorial so you could do a search for that.

Pretty cheap for what you get and can’t be beat as far as I’m concerned at least right now…

I know where that tutorial is… but I mean reference like blueprints or sketches (front + side view) (I them sketches over photos)

CGTalk - Furums - Modelling - There will be a sticky for blueprint/referance images - most are human body web sites

You would probably find better in a book or from the website mentioned above.

a realy good website that i use for most my blueprints and refrences is
