reference images

Not sure if this is the right place to post this thread, but w/e. What I’m looking for is a detailed diagram of world war two combat aircrafts, preferablly a B-17. And I was wondering if any of you knew where I could find these, I tried googling for them but was coming up empty handed…though google does seem to have a dislike for me :). Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

we have one at Dobbins AFB here in Marietta. It dropped the bomb on Nagasaki. I am sure Boeing would have them on their site.

suurland has a not so detailed diagram of a B17. googled “military blueprints”. I’ve heard the plastic model kits come with blueprints, too, might be worth checking out for more details than suurland has, just in case Dobbins AFB is out of your way.

not quite as detailed as I wanted, but its a good place to start, thanks for the help.

See this post – has a link to a model site that I use for references. Haven’t checked for a B-17.
