Reflected, but not rendered

I’ve been brushing up on materials lately and have created a chrome material for one of my models. I want to create something to be reflected in the material, but not get rendered. I took a photo of my back yard just for something to be reflected in one of my images. I set it as a background, and got the reflection I wanted. Is there any way that I can make the background render white, but still have this picture reflected in my material?

Add the pic of your yard as a Material Texture (not UVMap) to a Plane (or curved Mesh) and click the “Env” button in the Material tab in F5 on that Object.
