Reflecting but not rendering objects, help

Hiya folks,

Anyone got a quick way of having poly’s reflect in surfaces, but not have the poly’s themselves appear in the render?
eg: I have a curved mirrored surface, and I need objects to reflect in the surface, but I only want the mirrored surface to appear in the render.

Max had a single checkbox to exclude objects from the render but not the reflection calculations.
