Here’s a testrender of refraction in Blender (new feature as of today). It’s a bit stereotype, but hey it’s a testrender. :stuck_out_tongue:

can we see a shpere reflecting and refracting it’s surroundings please?
(it is difficult to see if that works on your example, it is just a die in front of a gradient)

so, this is possible now?

It’s not just a die in front of a gradient. It’s a die with refraction and reflection in front of a gradient… :smiley: (sorry, it’s getting late around here)

the monkeys make it more obvious though

at least put it on a checkered plane or something… :wink:

(I have seen that thread now, probably about time for a cvs update)

its not actually ‘refraction’ cause blender doesnt do that yet

I don’t get it. I downloaded the windows version in the link you posted, and it doesn’t has refraction buttons like you mentioned should be.

did you download tuhopuu by mistake? The one you want is the non tuhopuu. 2.31 with a twist.

I’m pretty sure it’s the right file that I downloaded. Is it called : bf-blender-windows-20031216.zip ?
