Remash destroys the modelling


I brought this model from the other program. I wanted to practice sculpting with this.

clicked the Remash button with voxel size 0.01 and happened like this.

I thought that the problem was the up-and-down of face but it is not.

I cleared the normals data and remashed it but it was same

and all edges are linked each others except the back of the head

I can’t find what’s the problem.

Your mesh probably has holes.

Maybe before remeshing, in the Object Data > Geometry Data > Clear Custom Split Normals Data? It’s a common normal problem with imported objects…
